Preis 59.900Euro. folgend ein paar Infos vom Vorbesitzer: The car was built on 27 December 1950 and was delivered to Sweden . In 2005 it came to a photographer in England who also took pictures of it with a camera of the 1940’s. In 2011, it came to the Isle of Jersey for some years and finally 2014 into my hands in Germany . The car was kept always in driving condition, was always kept registered. Therefore and also because of the Swedish conservation grease of the early 50’s, the car stayed in a good condition. Nearly all parts are the ones, the factory put on this car in December 1950. That was the reason, why this car got my attention when I searched for a split window beetle. Original pars still kept at that car (i.e.): - The body and the chassis belong to each other, are matching - The chassis still keeps its original floor pans, front and rear ends. - The body still keeps original paint in the interior, also the headliner, cardboards and fabrics are original. The carpet is original at the front firewall, on the tunnel and in the rear luggage area. The luggage rails and glove boxes are also still untouched. - both front fender and the rear right fender are from that car (!) - The original cloth fender beading was only cleaned and reinstalled and is still nice. - The spare wheel compartment, the front and rear apron, the side panels are unwelded. The heater channel keep their original cover plate. - The whole aluminium trim in and outside is original from this car - The glass is still original (keeping the Sekurit logo), also the window rubbers are all original and still flexible(!). - The original paint of the dash is faded a little but untouched. The same with the steering wheel. - The original, matching numbers engine is still running very strong. 100 Km/h are no problem, strong and easy acceleration. - The distributor and generator are also the original ones from that car (per date codes), fully restored - The engine still keeps its original tin ware (such as fan housing, etc) - The original, matching numbers front axle, completely restored, still keeps the original tie rods(!) with their greaseable tie rod ends. - The original steering box, turns very easy and doesn’t leak. - The original gas tank still keeps its original paint and is completely rust free (!) - The original Hemscheidt lever shocks are restored and in working condition. - The original backing plates and internal brake parts are original. Not original are the wheel brake cylinders and the shoes. - The original tool bag is still there, but some tools are missing, also the jack.
